I don't always use a camera strap so when I'm in the studio the quick release makes it so much quicker and easier to remove it.

The metal quick release clip works as it should. It is rugged and safe for attaching my camera. I take the strap off when I hook my camera to the tripod and it is a quick experience. When I want the strap back on it hooks very easily, but safely. There is nothing to break.

I use it for macro photography on my Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II with the Olympus M. Zuiko Digital ED 60mm f2.8 Macro Lens and a flash with a light diffuser. I love the excellent workmanship and the looks. It holds my camera securely.

These clips are great for smaller cameras like my X100V. They replaced my peak design anchor links which became annoying when the strap was off. These make attaching and removing the strap super easy.

I have it on my Nikon 850, a heavy camera but no problem with the strap twisting or worry about its strength. Easy to take off when I mount the 850 on a tripod.
